I think i have to begin by saying that i am writing this entry on a Mac. Yes, a Mac Book Pro to be exact. One that has been beaten and smashed around out of pure frustration. But let me also say this, i have 3 servers running Ubuntu Server and an XP box that likes to stay up late at night without any worries at all. Now that i have that out of the way, let me start by saying

Shut up you Mac Fanboy!
I hate You!

But now that is out of the way let me get going with my rant. I don’t understand how a lot of  you think that just because you became a minority by purchasing an overpriced consumer electronics product that you are somehow better than everyone else. Not only everyone else around you, but all the other operating systems out there. You think that somehow the Mac OS was developed by computers fresh out of the Matrix? Or do you believe somehow Jesus wrote every line of code in the operating system? And with that you fail to see how Mac OS could ever crash and burn like you label the array of Microsoft products.

That’s right, I use a Mac. The hardware components are okay, well if you have seen my MBP you would believe they have been stress tested to shit. However i am so over all the Windows bashing simply because people own a Mac. I can’t wait for all to actually try a windows product, and see that maybe Mac applications crash just as much as their MS counterparts. Why? Because the software was written by Coca Cola & Doritos fed humans. I can only see one key difference here, Microsoft doesn’t pussy out and limit their users to a prescribed set of hardware. So for sure they have to deal with dodgy driver code, or poorly manufactured chips out in the sweatshops of wherever.

What does this all have to do with Microsoft Windows 7? Well i am hoping this thing will get awesome reviews and shut up all the Mac whiners. Nothing shits me more than someone who just read a blog on TechCrunch, immediately shutdown their MS Machine, ran out to the near shiney Apple store and bought them selves an extremely expensive computer, and while they were out decided to get a MS Swastika tattooed to their mind. You’re quite the smart one now aren’t you. You can profess that Microsoft crashes all the time, and that your Apple product “Just Works”.

*sigh*

But why have i started to tear up in anger now with a Mac Vs. PC argument? Surely i can say the same thing about Linux fanboys? Well i could. But you see the key difference here with Mac Vs. PC and World Vs. Linux is that the basement dwellers that develop all the open-source code (god bless you) have done something more than merely bought a product, they made it themselves! So i permit them to rant and rave about their awesomeness.

Windows 7 has had quite a great response from the wider community initially. Up until there was scepticism about the various Vista like plans they were rumoured to be bringing in. However that is no longer the case. So if Microsoft has had the time to make a solid product now, Vista 2.0, then i am all for it, and hoping to god this will shut the damn Mac lovers up out there. No, this was never intended to be a summarisation of the features or a look into how awesome Windows 7 is. Its merely a praise that we might be getting less Mac static on the web.
